On the Solution of Linear Programming Problems in the Age of Big Data

The Big Data phenomenon has spawned large-scale linear programming problems. In many cases, these problems are non-stationary. In this paper, we describe a new scalable algorithm called NSLP for solving high-dimensional, non-stationary linear programming problems on modern cluster computing systems. The algorithm consists of two phases: Quest and Targeting. The Quest phase calculates a solution of the system of inequalities defining the constraint system of the linear programming problem under the condition of dynamic changes in input data. To this end, the apparatus of Fejer mappings is used. The Targeting phase forms a special system of points having the shape of an n-dimensional axisymmetric cross. Tingkat Kepuasan Masyarakat dalam Pengurusan Perizinan SIUP Agribisnis di Badan Pelayanan Perijinan Terpadu Satu Pintu dan Penanaman Modal Kota Denpasar

The primary function of government is to serve the public. To increase the public satisfaction is one of the efforts to improve the quality of public services. The service of trade business license (SIUP) for investing agriculture activities (agribusiness) is one of licensing service types that organized by BPPTSP and PM Of the Denpasar Municipality . The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of variables between the behavior of services and service standards to the satisfaction levels of public and influence the level of peoples satisfaction with the use of an agency service in processing Agribusiness trade license (SIUP ) in BPPTSP and PM of the Denpasar Municipality. The number of samples was determined by 90 respondents who have had SIUP with agribusiness activity period of 2010 s/d 2013. Data Technical Analysis used Partial Least Square (PLS) with the Smart PLS program. The results showed that the behavior of the service variables have a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.956 with the value of the contribution (R2) greater than 0.914 standard variable satisfaction level of service to the public, showed a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.930 with the value of the contribution (R2) 0.865. Based on the result of R2 values, it means the better behavior of the service makes the higher level of public satisfaction. The good quality of service behavior will give an impact on the quality of service satisfaction. The Good quality of service behavior in BPPTSP and PM of Denpasar municipality will increase public satisfaction and encourage the Applicants to submit SIUP agribusiness independently. The level of public satisfaction proved positive and significant effect on service bureau services. It shown by the path parameter coefficients positive value of 0.859 with a statistic of 24.879 (t-statistic> 2.58), so that the level of public satisfaction has positive influence on the use of service bureaus in BPPTSP and PM of Denpasar municipality. The conclusion is although the public satisfaction in good level of service behavior but in reality the communities still using bureau services for helping to submit of agribusiness trade license . It caused the use of agency services are considered more practical

Theory of plasmon-enhanced high-harmonic generation in the vicinity of metal nanostructures in noble gases

We present a semiclassical model for plasmon-enhanced high-harmonic generation (HHG) in the vicinity of metal nanostructures. We show that both the inhomogeneity of the enhanced local fields and electron absorption by the metal surface play an important role in the HHG process and lead to the generation of even harmonics and to a significantly increased cutoff. For the examples of silver-coated nanocones and bowtie antennas we predict that the required intensity reduces by up to three orders of magnitudes and the HHG cutoff increases by more than a factor of two. The study of the enhanced high-harmonic generation is connected with a finite-element simulation of the electric field enhancement due to the excitation of the plasmonic modes.Comment: 4 figure

Energy- Drinks: Composition and Health Benefits

In recent years, there has been an increase in the consumption of energy drinks, containing besides calories, other ingredients suspected to boost mental, emotional and physical alertness of the consumers. Such drinks are widely consumed by young people for a variety of reasons. However, from a public health point of view, little seems to be understood of the health benefits and other implications of these drinks by their consumers. Therefore, the understanding that energy drinks have stimulating properties that can boost heart beat rate and blood pressure, dehydrate the body, aggravate the effects of other stimulants, and prevent sleep may help as a decision making tools for the consumers of such products. This review examines some of the important active ingredients of energy drinks, their origins, sources, benefits and side effects. It is concluded that energy drinks, despite the variations in brand name contain bio-active ingredients; therefore further research is needed on their potential hazards.Keywords: Energy drinks, Composition, Effects, Consumer

Let $D$ be a bounded domain in $\mathbb R^n,$ with smooth boundary. Denote $V_D(\omega,t), \ \omega \in S^{n-1}, t \in \mathbb R,$ the Radon transform of the characteristic function $\chi_{D}$ of the domain $D,$ i.e., the $(n-1)-$ dimensional volume of the intersection $D$ with the hyperplane $\{x \in \mathbb R^n: =t \}.$ If the domain $D$ is an ellipsoid, then the function $V_D$ is algebraic and if, in addition, the dimension $n$ is odd, then $V(\omega,t)$ is a polynomial with respect to $t.$ Whether odd-dimensional ellipsoids are the only bounded smooth domains with such a property? The article is devoted to partial verification and discussion of this question

Model dan Mekanisme Pengelolaan Kebun Benih Tanaman Hutan Bersertifikat di Perum Perhutani Unit II Jawa Timur dan Puslitbang Perhutani Cepu

The purpose of this research is to find out: (1) the model and mechanism of forest management as the certificated seed nursery forest plant; (2) the model and mechanism of production of the certificated seed nursery forest plant; (3) the model and mechanism of certification of seed nursery, seed, and forest plant seed; and (4) the model and mechanism of forest plant seed and germ marketing at Perum Perhutani Unit II of East Java and Puslitbang Perhutani of Cepu. This research results shows that the mechanism of the certificated seed nursery forest plant management is carried out by maintaining and developing the genetic resources at all working units of Perum Perhutani and the plant glorification is carried out by Puslitbang Perhutani of Cepu. Seed produced is used to produce plant, protected forest rehabilitation and to be marketed. The mechanism of seed and germ production is carried out according to the procedure operational standard. The mechanism of seed nursery, seed and germ of Perum Perhutani is carried out by submitting an application of certification to the Balai Perbenihan Tananamn Hutan Jawa Madura (The Office of Forest Plant Seedling of Java Madura). The mechanism of seed and germ marketing at Perum Perhutani Unit II of East Java is carried out by Kesatuan Bisnis Mandiri (KBM) Agroforestry (Agroforestry Autonomous Business Unit), Puslitbang Perhutani of Cepu, and Kesatuan Pengelolaan Hutan (KPH) (The Forest Management Unit)

Homological algebra for osp(1/2n)

We discuss several topics of homological algebra for the Lie superalgebra osp(1|2n). First we focus on Bott-Kostant cohomology, which yields classical results although the cohomology is not given by the kernel of the Kostant quabla operator. Based on this cohomology we can derive strong Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand resolutions for finite dimensional osp(1|2n)-modules. Then we state the Bott-Borel-Weil theorem which follows immediately from the Bott-Kostant cohomology by using the Peter-Weyl theorem for osp(1|2n). So far, the owners of capital are always keen to invest in the stock market, however not all companies listed on the stock exchange will have a big investor. This is partly due to price fluctuations, investors can also look at the future prospects of the company, does provide a substantial or not. As agribusiness companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Index 45 for LQ is still very slow progress compared to other companies, so investors are less keen to invest in the company, so the performance is rather low. The problem formulated in this study is a variable fixed assets, long-term debt and capital affect net income in the agribusiness firm LQ 45 index listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007 until the year 2010?. The variable is the most dominant effect on net income in the agribusiness firm LQ 45 index listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007 until the year 2010?. The purpose of this study was conducted to analyze and to determine the effect of variable fixed assets, long-term debt and equity to net income in the agribusiness firm LQ 45 index listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007 until 2010. And to determine the most dominant variable effect between fixed assets, long-term debt and equity to net income in the agribusiness firm LQ 45 index listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007 until 2010. Xi variables jointly influence the variables Y1 at 72.89%, which means that the fluctuations or variations amounted to 72.89% variable Y1 influenced or caused by variable Xi together, and the remaining 27.11% or (1 - R2 = 1-72 , 89%) were caused by other factors or other variables. Partially only 2 independent variables Xi which significantly affect the dependent variable Y1 fixed assets (X1) and capital (X3), and other independent variables Xi (loans) have not significant (p> 0.05) to the dependent variable Y1 free. This means that each additional 1.00 USD fixed assets (X1) will result in a decrease in net income (Y1) significantly by Rp 0.309, and any additional capital to Rp 1.00 (X3) will lead to an increase in net income (Y1) is real Rp 0.528. The independent variable X3 is the most dominant effect on the dependent variable Y1 with a value of 8.864 with a chance F-hitung 0.005 (very real). The two dominant variables are X1 F-hitung value of 47.541 with a chance of 0.000 (very real)

Syndrome de christ-siemens-touraine - A propos de deux cas

Introduction : Les dysplasies ectodermiques forment un groupe hétérogène de maladies génétiques rares et complexes avec atteinte de plusieurs dérivés ectodermiques. La forme anhidrotique caractérise le syndrome de Christ-Siemens- Touraine.Observations cliniques : A travers deux observations, nous exposons les signes cliniques, radiologiques et la prise en charge thérapeutiqueDiscussion : la dysplasie ectodermique anhidrotique ou le syndrome de Christ-Siemens-Touraine est caractérisé par une triade : anodontie (ou hypodontie), anhidrose (ou hypohidrose) et hypotrichose. L’anomalie génétique intéresse les dérivés ectodermiques. Les signes cliniques sont variables, dominés par les anomalies dentaires. La prise en charge thérapeutique est pluridisciplinaire assurant la restauration de la fonction manducatrice, phonatoire et respiratoire.
